Barasat College is a college affiliated by West Bengal State University, West Bengal,India.It offersselective co-educational undergraduate courses following Under Choice Based Credit System(CBCS) from the Academic year 2018-19. The courses are open to those students who have- passed- Higher secondary examination conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination. The College offers 31 undergraduate courses (Both Honours and General) in Arts, Commerce and Science which were previously sanctioned by University of Calcutta and after establishment of West Bengal State University in the year 2008 the university also sanctioned all the courses without any interruption till date.
